Meet Dinu, your driver in Sri Lanka
Dinesh Jayasanka, whom everyone calls Dinu, comes from Tangalle on the south coast. He has been driving visitors around the island for ten years. Since 2025 he has done it in his own car and under his own name.

From other people's cars to his own
Dinu grew up in a modest home on the south coast. His father died early, and since then he has looked after his mother and his sister. Driving became his way of earning a living.
For ten years other companies booked him as their driver, in cars that belonged to someone else. In that time he covered more than 100,000 kilometres of the island's roads and learned which routes need an early start and where a short detour is worth it.
In 2025 he bought a car of his own and began working for himself. The work has given his family a home. Today guests book him directly, and he answers every message himself.

More than the famous sights
Dinu grew up far from the hotel strips. Besides the temples, the tea country and the national parks, he likes to show you everyday Sri Lanka, from a fresh coconut at a roadside stall to the quiet places where locals spend their afternoons.
"Very nice guy. Can only recommend him. Always had good ideas for things to do. Spontaneous changes of plans were no problem."
